Seven Purple Tigers have released a new single as of 25th June, titled ‘One Night’s Promises’. The song reflects on missed chances and possibilities, and is available on all major streaming platforms.
‘One Night’s Promises’ is an indie rock anthem that stays true to Seven Purple Tiger’s unique sound. It incorporates chiming synths and a wistful, wailing guitar track. The lyrics ponder about things that barely slipped away, chance decisions and wondering how life would be if you had taken the other path. Austin Horn’s gritty vocals soar in the chorus, with dramatic harmonies that elevate the chorus to a pivotal moment in the song.
2021 has been a busy year for the band, with ‘One Night’s Promises’ following Animal Magnetism and Middle of Something, both released earlier this year. They also brought out their first album in 2019, which was self-titled and included 11 tracks.
Seven Purple Tigers are based in the German Black Forest, and the members are German American. The four-piece consists of Austin Horn and guitarist Phil Dyszy who formed the band in Krakow in 2015, later joined by drummer Felix Schwer and bassist Sebastian Heieck.

The group works from a defunct restaurant inn, the Hotel Drei Linden, that they have repurposed to allow them to write, record, and release their music all in one space. From this charmingly bohemian setting, they strive to infuse their work with a rich tapestry of European philosophy and artistry.
This foursome is heavily inspired by the work of 2010’s indie rock bands, and the influence over their music is evident. Sounds reminiscent of fan favourites such as The Strokes and Tame Impala run throughout the music of Seven Purple Tigers. They have also been known to enjoy the work of Molchat Doma and The Smiths. In addition, the band enjoys collaborating with other artists in their live performances, and their concerts are consistently high energy and vibrant experience.
