It’s time to take a trip to the stars, folks, with VFM125’s extraordinary new progressive pop single, ‘The Light of Ordinary Things’.

Drawing on the sounds of the surreal, the strange and the extraterrestrial, this song is a shining example of what can happen when two minds from diverse backgrounds combine forces.

David Finney and Martin Vishnick have been lifelong friends and cousins, which has helped them to create their mesmerising, multi-layered sound. Though Vishnick’s background is in classical and rock guitar, while Finney has been associated with BBC Radio 1 and MTV for his band, The Company She Keeps, you wouldn’t be able to tell when listening to ‘The Light of Ordinary Things’.

There is a distinctive, sci-fi feel inside of its dulcet tones, and fans of Bowie’s weirder, off-planet works will definitely find something to enjoy here. By celebrating the power of art to challenge our circumstances, VFM125 are really hitting home a truth that everyone should take a moment to reflect on – that ordinary things can be extraordinary. And it’s not just their music that’s extra-ordinary.

Both cousins are passionate activists for different causes, with Finney working for the non-profit Humane Being, fighting against factory farming. Conversely, Vishnick is a devoted Nichiren Buddhists, striving towards inner enlightenment to benefit the world. As if the single wasn’t reason enough to express our admiration for this thoughtful and powerful duo, their humanitarian work is another cause to raise a fist to the sky in their respect. Don’t miss out on all the glory that comes from ‘The Light of Ordinary Things’ and make sure you check it out now!
