The Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith is about to get a serious upgrade next year with the arrival of Grammy Award-winning US country music superstar Tim O’Brien. The multi-talented artist, best known for his unique fusion of American folk, bluegrass, and Celtic influences, will be joined by an all-star lineup for two exclusive shows on January 15th and 16th, 2025.

But this won’t just be your average night of acoustic roots music. O’Brien’s musical partner and wife Jan Fabricius will be showcasing her impressive mandolin skills and soulful vocals alongside him. And joining them will be two renowned traditional Irish musicians, Seamie O’Dowd and Dermot Byrne, who will leave you spellbound with their masterful musicianship on guitar, fiddle, and accordion. For those unfamiliar with O’Brien’s storied career, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Mark Knopfler and Steve Earle.

His songs have been recorded by legends like Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks, and his numerous Grammy wins speak for themselves. But this evening won’t just be about O’Brien’s impressive discography. The quartet promises to deliver a set that blends O’Brien’s originals and traditional Irish tunes with individual showcases from each of the musicians. From heartfelt ballads to high-energy jigs, this is a rare opportunity to experience world-class musicians in an intimate setting.

So mark your calendars and get your tickets now to witness this unforgettable evening of music at the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith. This is not an event to be missed, and we have a feeling it will sell out quickly. Let Tim O’Brien and his all-star lineup transport you to a world of soulful storytelling and exquisite musicianship. See you there!
