With only a week to go until the US Presidential elections, Tencacious D have gathered a star studded cast to remind the citizens of America to get out and vote! What better way to get the message across with a brilliant cover of “The Time Warp”, featuring Phoebe Bridgers, Karen O, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democratic Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg and more.
All proceeds from the video go to the “Rock The Vote”, which fights for young voters to be correctly educated on voting, and for everyone to have their voting rights across the country.
Watch the video below and keep an eye out for the other artists participating in the Rock The Vote:
A press release says: “For The D, there’s a particular message in putting their hands on their hips – the importance of jumping to the left, and NOT stepping to the right, when it comes to rocking the vote on November 3rd.”
This release comes after tenacious D appeared in the “Village Of Love” Livestream gig, alongside Phoebe Bridgers, Angel Olsen, and Mac DeMarco, in aid of Planned Parenthood.
Many artists have been encouraging their fans to vote, ahead of the elections, and as tensions rise in the American political scene, each vote couldn’t count more.
