If you need some acoustic music to make your playlist have a raw edge to it, then look no further than this new release from Crabb! The singer-songwriter just release his album, ‘English American’ and its lead single, ‘Mykonos’ on January 25th, bringing in a combination of fantastic vocals and brilliant musical ability that will have you on the edge of your seat. Don’t miss this!
Aside from being a great track and the single on the album, ‘Mykonos’ also doubles as a love letter to his wife, showing a brilliant songwriting ability in the process, showing that he is able to write songs of a personal nature with ease. The track itself allows Crabb’s vocals to shine through, as he opts for a more stripped back acoustic sound to his music. A fantastic introduction to the album, it’s a track that’s more than worth of being the lead single. Also released alongside a music video, it sees contemporary dancer, Tess Howell, dancing brilliantly at London’s Langdon Centre, giving a wonderful track equally wonderful visuals to accompany it.
The process in creating ‘English American’ has been quite a long one, taking some talent in and behind the music to complete it. The first collaborator, Steve Brown, who once worked with the likes of Freddie Mercury, worked with Crabb up until his untimely passing. Following Brown’s passing, Steve Lilywhite, a six-time Grammy winner, lent his talents to help eventually finish the project.
The release date for ‘English American’ and ‘Mykonos’ has already been and gone, meaning that this project is ready for you to sink your teeth into whenever you want! Make sure that you get to know all about Crabb and add his latest project to your playlist.
